Line Dancing Lessons: The Cha Cha

The Twins, Margaret and Rose, demonstrate how to do the Cha Cha.

Margaret and Rose go Latin, showing us the steps to the Cha Cha. The count is 1, 2, 3 and 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Margaret explains that with every “and” count, there will be syncopation involved, meaning that they will do three steps to two beats of music. Steps include rocking, recover, and then cha cha cha. They also show us how to do it forward, behind, to the side, and with a quarter turn.
